Discover the History of BIG4 Renmark Riverfront Holiday Park

The Watts family are proud and passionate park owners that have been in the Caravan Park industry for over 40 years.

Having built their first park in Ballarat in 1973, Des and Margaret became the co-founders of BIG4 Holiday Parks of Australia with a view to promote what is still a Watts family value in all of their Parks today:

  • Quality
  • Service
  • Cleanliness, and
  • A complete tourism experience.

With this commitment to the industry, they have created an addictive atmosphere within their properties that cater exclusively to tourists and holiday makers.

The Watts Family have redeveloped a number of parks over the years and in addition to BIG4 Renmark Riverfront also currently own and operate BIG4 Ballarat Goldfields Holiday Park and BIG4 Melbourne Holiday Park.

BIG4 Renmark Riverfront Holiday Park was purchased from the Renmark Paringa Council in December 2006. The Watts Family, along with a great team here at BIG4 Renmark, have developed a beautiful location on the banks of the Murray River into an amazing holiday park filled with activities and facilities to entertain families while also catering for travelling couples and retirees.

With caravan parks and tourism deeply ingrained in the Watts family values, the family business is currently operated by the second generation of the Watts family with some of the third generation happy to help out during the holidays.

At Watts Holiday Parks, the health and safety of our staff and guests is paramount. If you are due to stay with us click here for further information.
